you can have nothing but sympathy and empathy for mr. snyder. that was clear from the supreme court when they heard his case this week. it s a question of how far the first amendment goes. bill: you and i disagree on this. do you want to make a prediction how the supreme court is going to governmental i don t think it went well for him overall. i didn t go to the arguments this time. i read the transcript and i read the write ups from the people i trust. and my sense is that the justices, a couple of them were struggling to find a compromise position so they could throw on some bones. bill: i see this with all due respect to the counselor i wish i had made the case to the supreme court. i m not lawyer. i don t care about that mumbo jumbo. here is the deal on this. there was a case in oklahoma, gun vs. the church of christ of collinsville, are you familiar with this? amazingly, bill. i don t know every case off the top of my head. bill: this is emotional distress, intentional in
bombings. and the star witness against him was this guy hughes sane hussein abbe. he was tortured essentially harsh interrogation and that s how ghailani gave up the name abbebb. bill: they were dunking him in water? yeah. bill: he gave up the name so that s that s just a subjective thing on the judge s part. the judge didn t do anything wrong. once this court got moved into civilian court the judge has to follow the constitution. bill: that s why it should be in the military. megyn kelly, everybody. so you are going to predict that the supreme court is going to rule against the snyders, right? i think so. bill: i can t bet you on that. i already won a state dinner on rendell. i can t bet you but i m praying you are wrong. i told you i thought it was going to be a close case. i still think it s going to be a close case. bill: when we come right back, the culture warriors on a

protesting at funerals or other people s private events. so i don t think that there is a huge concern that we re going to have people copycat this group sort of speak and go out and harass people at funerals. so, the slippery slope, at least as it pertains to funerals isn t really applicable in this case but the slippery slope does go both ways. if can you harass people at a funeral i suppose can you harass them at a wedding. you can harass them at their home, their school, their work place. bill: all right. now, mr. snyder, you have observed the opening arguments in the supreme court. what struck you as interesting? i think sean did a really good job. i think he touched on the major points, bill. i think that, you know, he laid out that this was harassment. and that s what it was. it was it was targeted. i think sean pointed that out right and like he said the slippery slope does have two sides.
