Jeff is thankful to be alive. Once it started it was kind of bizarre. It almost felt like we were flying. The cars flew off a left hand curve and at least 200 people were transported to hospitals and an additional body was found in the wreckage and the death toll rose to seven and they disabuse that project ecaisles were linked to the crash and that it was traveling as twice the posted limit. Accident the black box says the train was speeding and the engineer put the train into a full emergency braking mode but it was too little too late. Maximum authorized speed through this curve was 50 Miles Per Hour, when the engineer induced brake application was applied, the train was traveling at approximately 106 Miles Per Hour.
