hhs says that problem has now been resolved. the data hub that verifies identities was always working and so were functions at the website for users with existing accounts as well as some features like window shopping. this morning, though, another software bug required another set of repairs, and that required hhs to extend their regularly scheduled maintenance window later than they would have liked. that problem, though, fixed as well. there is another issue with the website, though, for users trying to get on right now. too much traffic. if you click log in at the top of the home page at healthcare.gov, more often than not today, so far at least, a page has popped up notifying visitors that there are just a lot of people on the site right now and there s a prompt asking users to enter an e-mail address so that administrators can forward you an invitation to return to the site when it is ready and able to handle your traffic. earlier today, i entered my e-mail, and it took four hour
