Rosemary, the rain, when it went away yesterday i thought ok, it might take a little while to warm up but turned out to be a nice day. It was. A little breezy for some but we cleared out nicely and temperatures warmed into the 60s, a few low 70s. Today were warmer. We have a mini heat coming for today and back to work monday. Right now the sun is shining bright. No fog to speak of out there. A little bit a little bit, trying to form along the coastline and that is about it. We will be mostly sunny for today. Look at Storm Tracker 2, the rain has moved out. Were watching just that final bit of moisture over the sierra last night, that moved on in the overnight hours as well. The winds in the hills, a little breezy but you can see here where we reside, generally light, we have fairfield at 9 M

Great to be here. Really nice to see all of these faces. Coauthoring your book about anyone would be a challenge but you guys are managed to produce an amazing an command amazing book about steve jobs working together command i want to ask you how you got started on this and how it all worked out. Well, we worked together back at Fortune Magazine my edited a lot of the stories about steve back in the late 90s and early 2,000s. And then i took a detour and went to Entertainment Weekly and now we became Close Friends and stayed in touch. We started working on a story for fast company. He called me up and said i have all these tapes that i just found. Transcribe them. So we did not know what they were. We went back and got them transcribe and converted to digital. It was built around what had happened to accept and take the time of you will she said, dont. And so we said, okay we started working on the article and then i was at my daughter and son softball game and i called kathy could cu
Really wanted to create a box of nobody else could create it is going to outdo everybody. You know its just sort of, you know, it was fascinating and it grew really frustrating for all the people from apple who moved over to next with him you know . They all eventually come i think everybody eventually left. Left. I was struck by the number of interviews that youve quoted in that section when hes trying to build next enemy times hes referring to apple. In almost every interview as you were talking about it hes referring back to apple or his comparing something thats being done with something apple is doing. Was that the case that was his only reference point. I dont think he was just obsessed with it, which he probably was but thats all he knew. Thats the thing people forget about steve. He spent a year or have major in college, he went to india, worked for atari, but that was not a real like very corporate job by any means. And so his only experience with anything had been really appl
