Geely Philippines continues to keep its market standing strong as it logged another top-selling record for its Coolray with 186 units sold in May. Based on Chamber of Automobile Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) and Association of Vehicle Importers and Distributors (AVID) reports, the Coolray kept its market leadership in the sub-compact 4×2 SUV with a 33 percent market share, month-to-date (MTD). In the meantime, the Okavango ranked No. 3 in the mid-size SUV segment with 151 units sold in May.
CAMPI and AVID also reported that in May, Geely maintained its No. 9 ranking in total industry sales (including all segments) with year-to-date sales of 1,987 units. Meanwhile, Geely Philippines ranked eighth in the passenger vehicles segment, which includes passenger cars, SUVs, and MPVs.
