GAIL India and truAlt Bioenergy Limited, an ethanol producer in India, have signed a term sheet for GAILs 49% equity participation in TruAlts joint venture company Leafinti Bioenergy Limited, which owns and operates Indias second compressed bio gas (CBG) plant, with TruAlt Bioenergy holding 51%.

Gail: The joint venture aims to establish 10 Compressed Bio Gas (CBG) plants, with each unit having a daily production capacity of 10,000 kgs, a total annual production of over 33 million kgs of CBG.

Delhi/Bengaluru: The government-owned natural gas company GAIL (India) Ltd and the leading ethanol producer in India, TruAlt Bioenergy Ltd, have agreed to GAIL investing in TruAlt's joint venture, Leafinti Bioenergy Ltd.
