Against a backdrop of difficult trading conditions in the UK machine tool industry during 2023, Hurco Europe's turnover to the end of its financial year in November was surprising. It turned out to be a record year for sales, higher than the best previous figure, achieved in 2018.

Hurco has unveiled an enhanced VM30i Plus, a 3-axis VMC with a twin-screen Win Max control, a powerful 12,000 rpm spindle, and advanced software capabilities. The machine streamlines operations with features like continuous tool-material contact, real-time graphical simulations, and Tool Change Optimization, reducing tool changes and boosting run times.

In the opinion of Hurco Europe, one of the exhibitors at this year’s Southern Manufacturing & Electronics exhibition, held from 7th to 9th February 2023 at the Farnborough International Exhibition Centre, the show certainly delivered in terms of visitor footfall and customer enquiries.
