A developer is planning to build a gas station, car wash, convenience store and EV showroom off of East Cedar Street in Newington alongside the Berlin Turnpike.

A developer has submitted plans for a three-story, 99,300-square-foot self-storage facility at 2176 & 2180 Berlin Turnpike on the Newington-Wethersfield town line.  The application was submitted to the Wethersfield Inland Wetlands agency in early October by Robert Pryor, director of engineering for Solli Engineering LLC on behalf of applicant BDC Holdings based out of White Plains, N.Y. The wetlands agency is hosting a public hearing on the application.
