A loan package totaling $200,000 from Somerset County and the Somerset Economic Development Corp. marks a starting point for more than $1 million in assistance the Spinning Mill project’s developers say they need after December’s flooding damage.
The Spinning Mill project suffered millions of dollars in flood damage in December’s historic storm, and its owners are now seeking financial assistance from state, county and town agencies to continue construction.
Mills, along with state, county and local officials, toured the damage and offered her support, as the state begins to seek federal aid for the hardest hit areas following Monday's powerful storm.
