FREDERICTON - Compliance officers are still catching businesses in New Brunswick with inadequate COVID-19 operational plans â or no plan at all, nearly a year after companies were required to create them.
Tim Petersen, vice-president prevention at WorkSafeNB, says the government agency s officers have issued about 900 compliance orders and 80 stop-work orders since March 2020.
Most stations in the region are selling gas and diesel for a few cents less.
The new maximum price for furnace oil is 99.9 cents per litre, a drop of half a cent.
Propane prices have risen by 2.4 cents to a new maximum of $1.10 per litre.
