The local charity, in partnership with Malmesbury Town Council, launched the service to support isolated, elderly and vulnerable families during the Covid-19 crisis. The lucky recipient of the 5,000th meal lives in Burnham Court, Malmesbury. This amazing milestone was reached thanks to the continuing support‎ of The Red Bull Inn and The Somerford Arms plus the work of the charity s volunteer delivery drivers. HEALS chair of‎ trustees Gavin Grant said: When we set out at the start of the pandemic to help vulnerable people with free meals delivered to their door, I had no idea we would be still at it a year later!
