Bank Holidays In February: According to the holiday schedule released by Reserve Bank of India (RBI), all the commercial and governmental banks in India will be closed for 12 days in February. Banking services and ATMs will remain operational. The Reserve Bank of India divides holidays into three categories: Negotiable Instruments Act Holiday, Banks' Closing of Accounts and
RBI holidays are placed under three brackets – Holiday under Negotiable Instruments Act; Holiday under Negotiable Instruments Act and Real-Time Gross Settlement Holiday; and Banks’ Closing of Accounts.
The banks will remain closed for 12days in the month of February on account of state-specific holidays and weekends, but online banking services will continue to work.
