Amirez had hoped to develop the land next to the Smugglers’ Run in Purewell, saying there was an “identified need” for smaller housing in the area. But a report by BCP Council planning officer Sophie Mawdsley recommends that members of the council’s planning committee refuse permission when they meet on Thursday. Submitted in July, the outline application proposes the construction of a terrace of four houses and three flats on the car park.
