In an advisory issued on Friday, Sorsogon PDRRMO said the cancellation is due to the increased volcanic earthquake recorded by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) in the past 24 hours. "Please be informed that due to the recent recorded 149 volcanic earthquakes, all concerned are advise not to conduct any type of activities within the 5-6 Km Danger Zone including the 2 Km Extended Permanent Danger Zone," the advisory read.
