Review: Android 10 on the Nintendo Switch is just as messy and awesome as it sounds
It will hardly come as a surprise that us geek folk over at GSMArena love the Nintendo Switch. Less surprising still is the fact that we love Android. Put the two together, sprinkle-in a hefty dose of tinkering and you get a janky fusion recipe that is just hard to pass by. Running LineageOS on Nintendo s amazingly popular handheld/home console is actually nothing new. A bunch of amazing people who refer to themselves as the
switchroot group have been working hard on getting alternative platforms running on exploitable Nintendo Switch units, including Ubuntu, forks of LineageOS, originating from the Nvidia Shield TV branches of Android. I have personally been running their older Android 8.1 Oreo, LineageOS 15.1 build for a good few months now on my personal Switch, as a secondary OS and was delighted with the results.
Steam’s Lunar Sale has begun, with bundle deals for CS:GO, Dota 2, and Half-Life
As was foretold by the prophets over at SteamDB, today is indeed the beginning of the Steam Lunar New Year sale. From February 11-15, you can take advantage of another round of deep discounts on selected Steam games, with notable deals on Valve’s own catalogue.
Steam is offering some themed profile items for the Lunar New Year celebration, which rings in the Year of the Ox. There’s a 2021 Year of the Ox animated profile, a miniprofile, an avatara frame, and an animated avatar, as well as several bundles all available in Steam’s points shop. The bundles provide a 10% discount over buying the items individually, but if you already own some items in the bundle, you’ll still save on the remaining pieces of the set.

Poland has long been hailed as an increasingly prosperous land for game development, with developers like CD Projekt RED, Techland, Flying Wild Hog, People Can Fly, 11-bit Studios and Bloober Team often cited as the best examples thanks to their global successes. There s also an interesting indie scene thriving in the country, though, and among these Exor Studios is certainly worth highlighting.
Originally formed as a modding group in 2003 (its first project was D.I.P.R.I.P., a total conversion mod for Valve Software’s Source Engine), Exor Studios went on to make Zombie Driver HD and tower-defense/twin-stick shooter game X-Morph: Defense, which got a 7.8 score from Dave a couple of years ago.

Now that Steam s servers have recovered from the marauding horde of bargain-hunters who arrived when the Steam Winter Sale started last night, we can look at what s actually worth buying. Normally at RPS we do a big batch of recommendations from the whole gang, but everyone else has already sacked off for the year so it s just me and my factual opinions. Probably the best RPS recommendations ever, I d imagine.

While Sin was well into Post Void, I never did get around to trying the FPS she called a masterpiece of compulsive motion and hypnotic, irresistible sounds. It wasn t expensive in the first place but now it s less so. So I ve just bought it.
