A physics professor at a Michigan university was fired on Thursday after being put on administrative leave in November for posting anti-Semitic, racist and homophobic comments on Twitter.
Thomas Brennan, who taught at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, announced in a tweet on Saturday, “I’ve been officially fired from Ferris [State University].”
The university confirmed the termination but said it had no further comment, reported

While touring businesses in Brooklyn, New York City mayoral candidate Andrew Yang, also a former Democratic candidate for president, was confronted over his strong opposition to BDS by a group that included Malik Hassan from the Muslim American Society New York and the Democratic Socialists of America.
According to a video published on Twitter by Politico reporter Joe Anuta, Hassan, who has defended the Hamas terrorist organization in the past, accused Yang of comparing the Palestinians to the Nazis.

Ten years have passed since the Iron Dome air-defense system, produced by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, made its first revolutionary interception of a Gazan rocket in Israeli skies in 2011. The growing risks of cyber attacks faced by all organizations and individuals around the world is a reflection of the fact that “for the first time in history, crime is being led by the smartest people in the world smart and creative people,” a leading Israeli cyber-security expert has warned.
Menny Barzilay, chief technology officer of the Blavatnik Interdisciplinary Cyber Research Center at Tel Aviv University and the co-founder of several companies, previously served as the chief information security officer in the intelligence services of the Israeli Defense Forces. He has also held several tech-related managerial positions in the largest Israeli banking group.

RT has aired what it claims to be previously unseen footage of legendary Israeli spy Eli Cohen in Damascus.
The broadcast came as Moscow was mediating efforts to return an Israeli woman who had crossed the border into Syria.

RT, the rare footage was discovered in film taken by a Russian military attaché in Damascus at the time.
