Once all lanes are open, drivers will be able to travel along I-65 through the North Split interchange from both directions.

INDOT announced they will close the Delaware, 11th Street on-ramp to I-70 EB temporarily. Closures are expected to start on Tuesday, April 18 and last through Friday, April 28.

The Delaware/11th Street on ramp will close from April 18 to April 28 for construction as part of the North Split project.

Drivers might need to consider an alternate route if their travel plans include eastbound I-465 on the southwest side of Indy.

The Indiana Department of Transportation will open new access to I-70 and northbound I-65 Thursday.According to an INDOT press release, since July, traffic for I-65 SB to I-70 EB and I-70 WB to I-65 NB have been using a new bridge while new infrastructure has been constructed.

Westbound lanes of I-70 are expected to be open through the North Split by Sunday morning.

Crews are scheduled to start moving barrels and putting down new pavement markings Friday night.

Construction crews will close the ramp from northbound Interstate 65 to Meridian and Pennsylvania streets on Monday morning, Oct. 24.
