Anderson County Sheriff's Office reportedly found a suspect wanted in Ohio, hiding inside First United Methodist Church in Oak Ridge on Sunday.
The city of Oak Ridge reported in an email that the suspect, identified as Casey John Jones, 30, of Columbus, Ohio, was wanted by authorities in Ohio with full extradition. The charges in Ohio were reportedly narcotics- and weapons-related, and officials were informed that Jones should be considered armed and dangerous.
The Rev. Mark Flynn told The Oak Ridger no one was injured during the incident. The man reportedly fled inside the church in between church services on Sunday.

A man who was wanted by law enforcement officers in Ohio fled and hid in an Oak Ridge church after a traffic stop Sunday morning, but an Anderson County K-9 unit found him hiding in a bathroom closet after a two-hour search, authorities said.
The pursuit began after the Oak Ridge Police Department stopped a vehicle on South Tulane Avenue at Wilson Street for a window tint violation at about 10:37 a.m. Sunday, April 11, the City of Oak Ridge said Monday.
After the initial contact with the driver, the driver fled from his vehicle on foot toward the First United Methodist Church at 1350 Oak Ridge Turnpike, the city said.

The city of Oak Ridge's Land Bank is planning to purchase land in the middle of the city to help establish a downtown-type development there.
The Oak Ridge City Council voted unanimously at its Feb. 8 meeting to allow the city Land Bank to borrow $900,000 to purchase this land on Wilson Street. However, the resolution Council passed stated it will not be borrowing city money, and Council will not be involved in paying off the debt.
Oak Ridge City Council voted last year to recommend a “vision” for the street and surrounding area with “apartments, condos, restaurants, local shops, offices and beautiful green spaces,” according to a city resolution recommended by city staff. The street runs between the restaurants Kume at South Rutgers Avenue and El Cantarito on South Tulane Avenue, but the vision also included the surrounding area.
