Conditions are favorable for further advance of Southwest Monsoon into some more parts of South Bay of Bengal, Andaman Sea and Andaman & Nicobar Islands during next 2 days.
No significant change in maximum temperature likely over most parts of the country during the next 5 days and no respite
we expect isolated light rain to occur for another 24 hours over parts of South Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Marathwada and at one or two places over Madhya Maharashtra and South East Madhya Pradesh.
As the weather system moves further, the trough will inch forward and will get positioned in the close proximity of Delhi, on 14th and 15th Sep. Accordingly, reasonably good showers are likely on these two days for Delhi/NCR
Under the influence of low pressure and the oscillation of monsoon trough, fairly widespread rain and thundershowers are likely over Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, over the next 2 days. The stormy weather conditions will be accompanied with lightning strikes and gusty winds.
