NASA has predicted the blue-whale-size asteroid will safely pass Earth by a significant distance of over 2.2 million miles (3.5 million kilometers).

The new tool allows the detection of previously unknown asteroids without the actual use of telescopes or any space observation equipment.

NASA estimates the asteroid to have the size of a standard bridge, enough to cause widespread damage in case an asteroid impact occurs.

The giant asteroid has been estimated to approach Earth in the next several hours. Asteroid 388945 (2008 TZ3) is projected to "dangerously" approach Earth in the next few hours but with an estimated safe passage on our planet's orbit this coming weekend.

There was an initial probability of 0.026% chance of the asteroid hitting Earth on May 6. An asteroid known as 2009 JF1 with the size of the Great Pyramid of Giza is still likely to impact Earth on Friday, May 6.

The space rock will be relatively close to Earth when it passes, and it will likely not hit our planet, says US space authorities.

>> appreciate it. scientists say this space object is unlike anything theyve seen before. the clues to what it might be. that is next.

ISS' ultrasonic tweezers are now being tested. Is it really possible to use sound to manipulate space objects remotely?

Use ‘foreign space objects’ in a press release title and of course I’m going to think the government has found something UFO-adjacent in outer space.
