Indonesia has offered Papuan island to Elon Musk as a potential launch site for his SpaceX project. But the residents are not happy as they think it would devastate their island’s ecosystem and drive people from their homes. They have told the billionaire Tesla chief his company is not welcome on their land.   Musk was offered use of part of the small island of Biak in Papua by Indonesian president Joko Widodo in December, 2020.

SPACEXS Starship SN10 prototype nailed its first launch and landing attempt yesterday, just hours after the flight was aborted on the launch pad at Boca Chica, South Texas. Unfortunately, the rocket was blown to smithereens just minutes after touching down.

SPACEX launched and landed a Starship prototype for the very first time last week, even though the SN10 spacecraft blew up shortly after touch down. With the SN10 out of the picture, how soon before SpaceX returns to the launch pad with the SN11 model?
