This marks two days in a row that I've been tasked with telling you about a product recall that, surprisingly enough, does not involve something that you'd eat. Yesterday, it was the dozens of shampoos being recalled because of concerns about benzene being in them.

Certain Pine-Sol products are being recalled over a concern you'd never guess in a million years.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a recall of Pine-Sol cleaners produced between January 2021 and September 2022. They may contain Pseudomonas aeruginosa, a potentially drug-resistant bacteria.

Clorox is recalling a select handful of its scented Pine-Sol products due to bacteria.

As many as 37 million individual Pine-Sol disinfectant cleaning products made since the start of 2021 are being recalled.

The company says the products may contain bacteria that pose “a risk of serious infection” to consumers. No injuries or illnesses have been reported.

Clorox recalled 37 million bottles of its scented Pine-Sol products on Tuesday due to a possible bacteria contamination.
