Last month, we showed the performance of the new ultra-high-fidelity Subwoofer design and provided all the cabinet construction details. In this final article in the series, we’ll finish off the Active Subwoofer by building and installing its internal 180W amplifier, complete the wiring, installing the driver and adding some feet. by Phil Prosser

To finish our new 500W Amplifier, we shall now describe the power supply configuration and the complete assembly details. That includes mounting all the modules and parts in the enclosure, wiring it up, checking that it works and making the calibration adjustments. by John Clarke

This compact Speaker Protector works with up to six amplifier modules and can operate from the same supply (up to ±40V DC). It perfectly suits the Hummingbird Amplifier module described last month. by Phil Prosser
