Australian health authorities are warning people to not buy toxic baby spinach.

Several supermarkets were forced to recall the toxic spinach across Australia, causing not only hallucinations but also other health complications.

‘They’re unable to see properly, they’re confused,’ said a poisons expert on the more than 160 people who had reported reactions after eating contaminated baby spinach. ‘It’s nothing fun’.

Officials believe the spinach, used in dozens of products, was contaminated by another plant or weed, which has been sent to laboratories for testing.
