Best audio glasses and sunglasses for 2021
Eyewear with built-in audio is proliferating, with Bose and Amazon leading the way. So what are the best audio glasses out there?
Audio glasses, which have integrated micro speakers and a Bluetooth connection, are proliferating. Bose is leading the way with its Frames audio sunglasses. Amazon is also in the game with its Echo Frames, now on their second generation. A host of other companies, many of which are no-name Chinese manufacturers, have released audio glasses in recent months. Some are geared toward everyday use, allowing you to forego headphones and stealthily listen to audio on the go, while others are designed for runners and bikers who want to leave their ears open to the world for safety reasons.
Fauna has hit the market with their own version of Bose Frame-like audio sunglasses and fashion glasses, and we took a look at them to see if they re worth the price.
Audio eyewear may sound strange to some, but for others, it s a game-changer. For example if you re a parent to a young child, sitting around your home with earphones in may prevent you from hearing your child getting into something they shouldn t. Or maybe you like to listen to music while riding your bike if you wear audio eyewear, your ears are left open to hear potential danger, but you can still enjoy your favorite podcasts or audiobooks. Or maybe you re looking for a way to listen to music while you work at the office but don t want to miss when a coworker swings by to ask you a question.

Second, and I’ll say it again, they look really good.
Even if they ran out of power, you’d still be happy to wear them as regular, attractive sunglasses. I don’t think I’m labouring this point too much it’s important to a lot of potential buyers that they don’t look like some kind of gadget on your head.
My test pair was the ‘Spiro Transparent Brown’ model and I showed them to our fashion-conscious 18-year-old for a comparison check with other audio glasses I have, She rated the Fauna pair best. It’s fair to say that her appraisal of such sartorial standards is superior to mine.
