Splunk Doubles Down On IT Management And DevOps With New Observability Cloud

Continuing to expand its portfolio of cloud-based “data-to-everything” software, Splunk says its Splunk Observability Cloud for IT and DevOps teams, in beta since last fall, is now generally available.
The system, which originally debuted in October in beta as the Splunk Observability Suite, is key to the company’s efforts to expand sales of its machine data management technology for IT infrastructure monitoring, application performance management and DevOps tasks.

Data analytics firm Splunk Inc. is revamping the application and infrastructure monitoring experience for customers with the launch of its new Splunk Observability Cloud that helps detect operational issues affecting apps and the environments they run in, as well as providing investigation and troubleshooting capabilities.
The Splunk Observability Cloud is being made generally available today after it was unveiled during the company’s October 2020 Splunk .conf event. The company said at the time it was launching Splunk Observability Cloud to address the enterprise shift to multicloud information technology architectures.

Splunk today announced the launch of its new Observability Cloud, bringing an organisation’s observability solutions together in a unified interface to help customers gain comprehensive views of their data operating at an enterprise scale.
