The Daily Herald Although spring doesn t officially start until the end of March, Columbia is kicking off the season early with First Fridays, special sales and other events to enjoy outside of the house. 1. First Fridays downtown It s a new month, not to mention a much clearer weather forecast this weekend, just in time for another First Fridays block party downtown. Shops will stay open late, with the main First Fridays events running from 5-8 p.m. Mostarda food truck will be parked downtown starting at 2 p.m. Be sure to try the fried pizza fritta, as well as the shrimp or pulled pork roll.
