On April 16th to April 18th, Seagrove will be hosting a Celebration of Spring Pottery Tour, allowing visitors to watch kiln openings and pottery demonstrations firsthand while enjoying music and food. Although masks and social distancing is still required, the event heralds a shift from Seagrove s strong digital presence back to brick and mortar sales as COVID-19 restrictions ease.
Ben Owen, a gifted potter in the Seagrove Potters Association, says, Because of vaccines and the ability for people to be able to come out and feel more confident touring, they re going to be able to see a lot more than what you are limited to seeing on a computer.
