Nate Parker is the principal at Springbrook Middle School in Adrian, and James Anderson is the principal at Wayne Memorial High School in Wayne.

Superintendent candidate interviews continued Tuesday at Adrian Public Schools. Internal candidates Nate Parker and Derrick Richards interviewed.

Five candidates are interviewing this week for the Adrian schools superintendent. Mondays interviewees were William Patterson and James Anderson.

Adrian Public Schools will work with Clark Construction Co. on several projects at Alexander and Michener elementary schools and Adrian High School.

The candidates include two Adrian administrators and others from Jackson and suburban Detroit. Interviews are scheduled to take place Jan. 3-5.

Mondays school board meeting for the Adrian Public Schools board was its first in-person meeting in some time. The board met at Adrian High School.

Students and staff at each of the four Adrian Public Schools elementary buildings are expected to remain in a virtual learning format through today, with in-person classes set to return Friday.

Updated: 7:35 PM EDT April 11, 2021 ADRIAN, Mich. — Adrian Elementary School will be going back to remote learning on Monday following spring break. The district says there are 9 positive cases of COVID-19 currently at the elementary level, greatly increasing the number of students that are required to quarantine. That represents over 20% of the elementary population. Springbrook Middle School and Adrian High School will resume in-person instruction on Monday as scheduled.
