Following criticism by Republican officials, including a call to resign from the Saratoga Springs City Council, Minita Sanghvi said she isn t stepping down from her city role as she seeks a seat in the New York State Senate this fall.
Sanghvi, who is currently the Saratoga Springs Finance Commissioner, formally announced her entrance into the 44th Senate District race against incumbent Sen. James Tedisco, R-Saratoga Springs, Monday.
