Northridge Mall may be closer to meeting a wrecking ball after a judge called for a demolition plan from its owners, but Milwaukee may not have enough money to go through with razing the property, according to multiple reports.
A Milwaukee County judge is not happy with both the owner of the shuttered Northridge Mall and the City of Milwaukee, as he tries to move the planning of the demolition of the property forward.
U.S. Black Spruce Enterprise Group, Inc., the China-based owner of the blighted former Northridge Mall in Milwaukee must either demolish the mall or make what are estimated to be more than $6 million in repairs to structures and its grounds to bring the property back up to code.
