The ST Engineering Antycip-led team provided Commercial Off The Shelf software and development expertise to Gladiator, a new synthetic training system for the UK armed forces. The new capability will be on display at DSEI from 12 to 15 September.
The collaboration will enable a large-scale virtual environment with comprehensively populated activity that is modelled on real-world phenomena to simulate scenarios for incident response planning and command training.
Greater integration between ST Engineering Antycip and Cervus will see the pair share more resources and collaborate further on joint training, marketing and technical partnerships.
Innovations by MAK Technologies, Cervus Defence, VIOSO Simulation and more will be showcased at the upcoming Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) in September.
The companies hope the planetarium will provide outreach using astronomy as a means of inspiring people of all ages to take an interest in STEM subjects and careers.
