Located at the school’s Langtree Street campus, the facility will provide skills and training in an effort to meet emerging jobs and skills priorities in line with the government’s 2050 net zero target.
Happy thoughts: Arya s rainbow tree A PUPIL from St Helen’s College, Hillingdon, has won an international competition, iArt 2021, for her depiction of the ‘rainbow trees’ in her garden, which made her happy throughout lockdown. The competition received 168 entries, ranging from pets to wild animals, landscapes and portraits as pupils embraced techniques from sculpting to impressionist art. Arya Arora, 7, will receive Amazon vouchers for her efforts, as well as recognition in the iArt 2021 brochure. She said: “In my garden, we have huge trees and, during lockdown, I saw two rainbows over the trees which always made me smile and happy.”
