MADISON, Wis. -- The St. John's Lutheran Church congregation held their final service in the more than 100-year-old building they call home Sunday before the church is demolished and replaced
The congregation's final service in its historic space will be held Oct. 29, as the church prepares for a 10-story redevelopment with a new sanctuary, community spaces and low-cost housing.
St. John’s Lutheran Church in Arnold will honor Bobby Schroeder, who recently retired as the full-time director of music ministry, on Sunday, Sept. 17, and Pastor Jeremy Schultz, who is celebrating 25 years in the ministry, on Oct. 1.
