A state representative from San Antonio received the COVID-19 vaccine Thursday.
Rep. Ray Lopez of House District 125 on the West Side got his dose of the Pfizer vaccine at University Hospital, according to his office. Lopez, who received a federal immunization card, is scheduled for a second booster dose in mid-January. I m incredibly grateful to have been included in this phase of the vaccine distribution, Lopez said in a statement. I feel great and will be monitoring my health throughout the coming days. After receiving my initial dose, I am even more confident in the science that has made these vaccines available.
