Model 3 now at its lowest price ever

The Tesla Model Y and Model 3 now cost well below $40,000 in their base versions if you can claim the EV tax credit. Most other EV makers haven't followed with official price cuts quite yet.

From January 1, 2024, Americans purchasing a qualifying car will be able to cut $7,500 off the price of a new EV or up to $4,000 off the cost of a used EV up front.

While we've seen lower MSRPs, those were only available for a short while, and the new Model Y RWD can get the $7,500 tax credit.

Ford is adding a new trim for the model year 2024 refresh of the F-150 Lightning. Named Flash, the new version will have an EPA-estimated range of 320 miles, a bigger screen, and a heat pump.
