The Southern Downs regionâs events calendar is back to its flourishing best in 2021, with scores of beloved occasions making their return in the coming months.
Communities across the region battled through the cancellation of a number of annual events in 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic, leaving residents and tourists alike with a renewed appetite for this yearâs comebacks.

ALLORA AUTUMN FESTIVAL
One of the small Southern Downs townâs most popular events is locked in for 2021, inviting residents and visitors alike to celebrate the areaâs rich history.
WHEN:Saturday and Sunday, with gates open from 7am
WHERE: Morgan Park Raceway
WARWICK CALEDONIAN SOCIETY 150TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
Over 200 pipers and drummers will fill the Warwick Showgrounds in a bagpipe muster celebrating the Warwick Caledonian Society.
There will also be a novelty highland games, a blacksmith, a fire lighting ceremony, and Canton of Stegby.
BYO picnic rug or seats.
Lucky patrons can also enjoy a sold-out Scottish gala dinner with traditional Haggis, whisky, the poetry of Robert Burns and Scottish dancing.

SUMMER EXHIBITIONS
The Stanthorpe Regional Art Gallery is pulling out all stops this summer with a bounty of local artists and their jaw-dropping creations on display.
Featuring work from Cheryl Moggs, Stanthorpe Pottery Club, Stanthorpe State High School and SRAG Collection, thereâs an excess of talent to feast your eyes on.
