A mesmerising supermoon is set to light up our skies tonight, in a rare astronomical spectacle that wont happen again until September 2024.

Britain should largely be free of cloud cover during the peak at 02:35 BST, although those in the south west of England and large parts of Wales might struggle according to the latest forecast.
