There has been a drop in light pollution during lockdown in Gloucestershire, a new study has found. A nationwide star count conducted in February has revealed a significant drop in light pollution levels across the UK. The annual citizen science project asks people to count the number of stars they see in the Orion constellation. How to Take Part The event which runs until Sunday February 14 asks partakers to use just their eyes, (no binoculars or telescope), to try and see how many stars they can see in the constellation of Orion, currently on view in the southern to south-western portion of the sky in the evenings.
