Photo by Dylan Buell/Getty Images It’s been 19 months since light heavyweight titleholder Dmirty Bivol last fought. Of course that’s not the way Bivol would’ve preferred things — he would’ve much rather kept active during this time — but he’s also well aware of the circumstances that have kept him out of the ring and tells RingTV that he believes it’s important for him to keep his composure. Bivol will be back in action this weekend in Manchester, where he’s scheduled to face...

Photo by Mikey Williams/Top Rank Inc via Getty Images Saturday night on ESPN+ and ESPN, Emanuel Navarrete will return to defend his WBO featherweight title against Christopher Diaz. Does Navarrete retain or will Diaz pull a shocker? Scott Christ (24-7-2) Christopher Diaz has to this point in his career been a nice, solid, second-tier fighter. Top Rank tried to get a 130 lb belt on him in 2018, but he wasn’t quite up to the task against Masayuki Ito. He moved down to 126 and Top Rank fed him t...

As Andy Ruiz prepares himself for his May 1st fight against Chris Arreola, Ruiz showcases his current physical condition and it’s readily apparent that he’s dropped a good bit of weight from the last time we saw him in the Anthony Joshua rematch a year-and-a-half ago. Since that loss Ruiz has teamed up with Eddy Reynoso, who notably trains Canelo Alvarez, and says he’s had better discipline instilled inside of him with this new team behind him. Ruiz has obviously lost a lot of pounds and...

But the odds are really less about Berlanga getting upset right now than when someone eventually does see the se...

Ryan Hafey/Premier Boxing Champions and Steven Paston/PA Images via Getty Images Andy Ruiz Jr is set to face Chris Arreola in a comeback bout May 1 on Premier Boxing Champions PPV, and it’s the “PPV” part that has tripped a lot of fans and pundits up. We all understand that Ruiz has some name value, but few think this is really a matchup deserving of not just pay-per-view — lots of bad fights are pay-per-view because they are otherwise not getting televised — but pay-per-view being ba...

Photo by Sarah Stier/Getty Images Former junior middleweight titlist Tony Harrison is set to return Saturday night on FOX, facing Bryant Perrella in a fight both must win if they want to stay players in a crowded and competitive division. The 30-year-old Harrison (28-3, 21 KO) hasn’t fought since his Dec. 2019 loss to Jermell Charlo, but the 32-year-old Perrella (17-3, 14 KO) has also been out of action since a Feb. 2020 loss to Abel Ramos, so Harrison isn’t worried about rust being a big f...
