Death Row Records will be “an NFT label” and the first major record company to operate in the metaverse, according to new owner Snoop Dogg.

"We will be putting out artists through the metaverse,” said the rapper during a Clubhouse chat on Tuesday.

On Thursday (February 9), Snoop Dogg launched his Bacc On Death Row NFT project, which includes his 17-track B.O.D.R album, with blockchain gaming company Gala Games. The NFT has been released as a one-of-a-kind digital "Stash Box" is available for purchase via Gala Games.
