tactically. judge nancy gernter, back in the case of georgia, what do you make of the move by jeffrey clark or mark meadows to move this to federal court? it s a move they had to make and it is a move that they they are entitled to try to make. the question is, this is a removal where federal officials, arguably carrying out federal policies, saying, they can t get a fair trial in state court, and they had federal defenses, immunity from these prosecutions. the issue here is going to be weather because this all took place while meadows was chief of staff, that that somehow inoculates it from state charges, or whether or not the judge is going to say, wait a minute wait a minute, what they were doing was not carrying out federal policies. they were carrying out trump s campaign policies. they were not dealing with the presidents official duties, which might have to do with the integrity of elections. the president has no official duties with respect to the electoral college. t
