Israeli parliament approves key part of judicial overhaul that has exposed deep fissures in society

Ohio is having a special election this year on August 8 and on the ballot is one issue that everyone will be voting on.

COLUMBUS, OH (WLIO) - State Issue 1 continues to be a hot topic among Republicans and Democrats in the state of Ohio.

More than 155,000 Ohioans have already voted in the Aug. 8 special election, with less than three weeks remaining until Election Day, according to the Ohio Secretary of State’s new Office of Data Analytics and Archives.

Voting “no” on Issue 1 sends a message to an out-of-control General Assembly: Enough, ladies and gentlemen, is enough, Thomas Suddes writes.

The Ohio Secretary of State’s Office announced Tuesday that more than 28,000 Ohioans have signed up to be poll workers for the August 8 special election, surpassing the minimum number of 27,587 poll workers needed statewide for this election.

There will never be a better chance to protect hunting, fishing, trapping and gun rights against big money politics than State Issue 1.

Many of Ohio's counties are at full recruitment of the Aug. 8 special election, but many more are not including Mahoning Trumbull and Columbiana counties.
