The Conard girls won their first outdoor track title since 1979 and the Hall boys won their fifth straight state title at the Class LL championships Wednesday at Willow Brook Park.

It came down to the last event, the 4x400 meter relay, in the Class M boys state championship. Tolland needed to win the relay and get the 10 points to win and the Eagles did, beating Suffield 78-77.
