The Ohio BUILDS water infrastructure program is a continuation of the H2Ohio initiative launched in 2019. The Ohio House of Representatives last month passed the final version of the State Operating Budget for fiscal years 2024-25, which includes a $60 million investment each fiscal year into H2Ohio to support water quality efforts across the state.

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Lt. Governor Jon Husted were joined by Tony Coder of the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation and the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services Director Lori Criss Monday to discuss the Social Media Parental Notification Act and other mental health priorities in the state budget.

"I think its really important to have these discussions," said Husted.
