STATELINE, Nev. - Firefighters from the Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District (TDFPD) responded to a home fire on Holly Lane in Lake Village on Monday, February 26. The call came in at 11:25 a.m. Three engines and two rescue vehicles responded. The teams were able to knock down the fire quickly before it spread to other homes and condominiums.

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Nev. - The Douglas County Sheriff’s Protective Association (DCSPA) has issued an endorsement for the current Tahoe Justice of the Peace Judge Michael Johnson to retain that position. DCSPA President Justin Fricke made the announcement on February 25. “I am honored to receive DCSPA’s endorsement,” responded Johnson.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The community once again had an opportunity to engage with the leadership of Lake Tahoe Unified School District (LTUSD) at the recent LTUSD Community Conversation.

There are 18 SNO-Parks on U.S. Forest Service land in California, ten in the Lake Tahoe Basin with many others just a short drive away. The parks offer cleared parking for vehicles, and opportunities for non-motorized winter activities including cross-country skiing, dog sledding, and snow play.
