CITRA (Communications & Information Technology Regulatory Authority) is responsible for overseeing the telecommunications sector, monitoring and protecting the interests of users and service providers, and regulating the services of telecommunication networks in Kuwait.
The Information Security and Emergency Response Department works in accordance with the vision of the National Cybersecurity Strategy, where it exercises jurisdiction over cybersecurity tasks and responsibilities at the national level.
The National Center for Cybersecurity (NCSC) platform aims to exchange data and enhance cybersecurity between government agencies in order to take precautionary measures before any cyber-attack occurs. The platform supports vital sectors within the State of Kuwait, to enhance the protection of their systems, and provide support for incident response in relation to cybersecurity.
