Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation has released the revised draft for its National Policy on Official Statistics, with a focus on creating a cohesive framework for the use of big data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning in creating and releasing economic and social statistics.

Npos: “This policy will provide an overarching framework for providing reliable, timely and credible social and economic statistics to assist decision-making within and outside the Government,” the ministry stated.
