Eldonian Community Based Housing Association’s grading under review
Providers being investigated for an issue regarding their compliance with the Governance and Financial Viability Standard are added to the regulator s GUR list.

The Regulator of Social Housing reports that Eldonian Community Based Housing Association has been placed on its gradings under review list today (2 June 2021).
At the time of the last Statistical Data Return, the provider had fewer than 1,000 homes and therefore does not have a current published regulatory grading in accordance with our established procedures.
The regulator is currently investigating matters which may impact on
ECBHA’s compliance with the Governance and Financial Viability Standard.

RSH data shows homes owned by private registered providers reach 3 million mark
The Regulator of Social Housing today published statistics about the social housing sector, including stock ownership and rents as at 31 March 2020.
This is the first time that we have produced local authority statistics, and combined statistics for local authority and private registered provider stock alongside the private registered provider statistics.
Returns from registered providers of social housing show the sector as a whole had 4.4 million social housing homes in 2020, with more than 60% owned by private registered providers and the remainder owned by local authorities. When non-social housing stock is included, private registered providers reported owning more than 3 million homes for the first time.

The Regulator of Social Housing reports that the following three housing associations have been placed on its gradings under review list today (17 February 2021):

The regulator is currently investigating matters which may impact on the providers’ compliance with the Governance and Financial Viability Standard. The regulator’s gradings under review list is available on the website.
