The 2022 stakes season gets underway at Hippodrome 3R on Friday, July 15 with the start of the Breeders Trophy Series for three-year-old trotters.

La Petite Grise continued her winning ways Friday afternoon at the Hippodrome 3R, notching her fifth win in just eight starts this season, scoring an easy win in the Preferred-Handicap Mares Pace.

Driver Samuel Fillion clinched the 2022 Quebec-Eastern Ontario Regional Driving Championship (QEORDC) title with his third win of the day on Sunday afternoon (June 26) at Hippodrome 3R in Trois-Rivières, Que. 

It may be his first time ever competing in a National Championship event, but driver Samuel Fillion is ready to take on seven rivals on Sunday (June 26) at Hippodrome 3R in the Quebec-Eastern Ontario Regional Driving Championship.

She has raced 10 times so far in 2022 and each of those starts have been against older horses and mares and yet she continues to win.

The lone three-year-old filly in the field, Stella Alpha and driver Pascal Berube stole the show in the $6,000 Preferred 2 & 3 Handicap Trot at Hippodrome 3R on Friday, June 17.

With a perfect wait and see drive, Kiwon Waldron steered X O X O to a dominant triumph in the $6,000 Preferred 2 & 3 Handicap Trot at Hippodrome 3R on Friday afternoon (June 10).

Beginning this weekend, Hippodrome 3R (H3R) is set to begin live harness racing two days a week, Friday and Sunday. The Friday afternoon program begins at 4 p.m. and Sunday’s post time is 12 noon.

The race favourites did not fare well at all on Sunday (May 29) afternoon at Hippodrome 3R, especially in the three co-feature events.

National Debt has banked $712,838 in his career, competing in both Canada and the United States with a lot of success. But one track in particular — Hippodrome 3R — seems to be his favourite.
